How often do you say to yourself things like:
I won’t get that job because…
They won’t promote me because…
My ideas are no good…
…even BEFORE you have tried?

Maybe you had a bad meeting, a bad fiscal quarter, or something (someone) prompted you to think: "that’s it!"
While it’s tempting to quit, there can be benefits to staying at your current job instead of looking for a new job right now.
Today I talk about how staying (at least for a period of time) can work for you.
Note: this is not “settling!” This is examining the root cause of your dissatisfaction and ensuring you have exhausted all options, and gotten the most out of your current job, before taking a leap.
What are the upsides of staying?
What steps can you take to strengthen your options?

Asking for help at work can be tough, I feel you! But it is especially important for Latina leaders rising the ranks to know when and how to get the help you need to succeed.
Each time you achieve another level of success, you need new skills to perform at this new level. And that means leaning on others for input and advice.
There is a lot that can make us hesitant to ask for the help we need–especially in Latina families where we are taught to be self-sufficient and resilient!
Today I walk through my framework of moving past fears to get the help you need, including the questions to ask and the people you need to serve as thought partners as you rise the corporate ladder.
And I pull out my college dictionary for help.
Leave a COMMENT to let me know how YOU asked for help after listening to this episode!
